NUMBER SYSTEM
1.Natural Number-All positive counting number’s which start from 1 and goes up to +∞ (Plus infinity) that number’s are called Natural Number.
We represent natural numbers by “ N ”
Example- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ……………………+∞
2.Whole number- All positive counting number’s which start from 0 and goes up to +∞ (Plus infinity) that number’s are called Whole Number.
We represent Whole numbers by “ W ”
Example- 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ……………………+∞
3.Integer number- Those number’s which start from -∞(Minus infinity) and goes up to +∞ (Plus infinity) that number’s are called Integer Numbers.
We represent Integer numbers by “ Z ”
Example- -∞ ……….. -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3,……………+∞
Note : Integer numbers may be negative , may be zero , or may be positive numbers.
4.Even number - An Even number is an integer that can be divided by two (2).
Example- 2 , 4 , 6, 8, 10, 12, ……………etc.
5.Odd number - An Odd number is an integer that can not be divided by two (2).
Example- 1 , 3 , 7, 9, 11, 13, ……………etc.
